Cyber Safety Campaign

Campaign Overview

While the Internet provides us with hours of entertainment and information, it can also be a very dangerous place for all users. 60 for Safety is proud to partner with Stop. Think. Connect. to bring safe browsing tools to our communities. This campaign has two elements. There is a talk designed for the parents of teens and tweens and another designed for older Internet users. The second talk can be adapted for any adult. Each presentation should take 15-20 minutes and allows time for discussion and questions.

I Choose - anti-bullying campaign

Campaign Overview

All children deserve the right to exist in a world where they feel physically and emotionally safe. … For millions of children in the U.S. who are victims of bullying every day, this is not the case. The best way to stop bullying is to prevent it before it starts. To that end, 60 for Safety has partnered with the Yoursphere Media Education Foundation’s “I Choose” Classroom Challenge to offer a dynamic bullying curriculum to schools in your community. This program inspires students to recognize bullying as a choice and explores the impact of kind words and behaviors. The “I Choose” campaign allows you to put valuable resources in the hands of classroom teachers so they can work with students to combat this growing issue.

Kids and Cars.org

Campaign Overview

Every day, children are injured or even killed when left unattended in and/or around motor vehicles. Heatstroke, backovers and frontovers are the leading causes of such accidents. 60 for Safety has teamed up with KidsAndCars.org to bring you two mini-campaigns to aid you in bringing this important accident prevention message to your community. In the “Look Before You Lock” campaign, you will partner with local medical professionals to provide important safety information and “reminder” stuffed animals to parents. With our “Blindzone Kit,” you will present the real dangers of frontover and backover incidents through engaging presentations.

Fight Hunger

Campaign Overview

In the United States, more than 50 million people live in food-insecure households. … This breaks down to 1 in 6 people — and 1 in 5 children — not having enough to eat or worrying about how they will put their next meal on the table. The good news is that there’s a lot we can do to help conquer hunger in America. A little bit of work can go a long way in helping to combat food insecurity in your community; the 60 for Safety “Fight Hunger” campaign serves as a guide to help assist your firm in getting involved with your local “Feeding America” initiative.
